The Institute’s library is the resource hub for knowledge and has a vast collection of books, journals, magazines and periodicals. The library has all the required facilities and the all operations of the library are automated with KOHA software. The library is located in the main campus with a total area of 2250 Sq. Ft. and a total seating capacity of 140 students with 4000 plus available Reference and Textbooks, 30 Magazines, and 09 newspapers and back volumes of Periodicals.

The institute has enough budget provision for procuring books of subjects ranging from arts, commerce, languages, spiritual values, general knowledge, personality development and books related to competitive examinations.

An extension of the main library is functioning in first block. User orientation is organized at the beginning of the year regarding the various facilities, services and resources available in the library

E-shodhsindhu consortium with access to 6000+ e-journals, and 1,99,500+ e-books, and more than 6,00,000 e-Books through NDL (National Digital Library of India). The library provides reprographic services, Wi-Fi service and previous year question paper services. To raise security, four closed circuit cameras have been installed, the department of library conducts book exhibition to showcase the available books in the library to the user community.

The library is extensively used by both the students and faculty. The library is open on all working days between 8.00 am to 11.00 pm.

LIBRARY SAPTHAHA

The only thing that one must absolutely have to know is the location of the library.  They are the gateways to knowledge and culture and plays fundamental role in society.  In such a vision, Universal School of Administration under the assistance of Universal Knowledge Centre organised ‘Library Sapthaha’ Week to offer countless learning opportunities to fuel social and cultural development of students.  It also aimed to create interest in books, enhancing their newspaper and reading skills and also to enrich the Knowledge of current affairs.

                  Library Week was inaugurated on 22-June-2023 by the Chairman, Mr. R Upendra Shetty and it was celebrated from 28-June-2023. It consisted of OBT (Open Book Test) study hours where students were given precise timings and techniques to ace in OBT’s. Time was also allotted for critical newspaper reading and analysis, where a mentor had trained the students, taught shortcut methods to make the newspaper’s utilised to its maximum level.  The books in the library were arranged in unique manner.  The newly arrived books were put on display, so that the students do not miss the opportunity to utilise those books.  The students volunteered themselves in making unique and eye catching charts, which were displayed throughout the library, which Indeed encouraged students to use the Library to their, heart’s content.

                Overall, the vision of Library Sapthaha was to attract Students towards library and also to develop love and moral towards Library.  This successfully did the Job of boosting students Knowledge and upgraded them in current affair.  These activities gave students a kick start to the marathon race of civil Services.
