National Constitution Day: UGI Hosts a Dynamic Mock Parliament Session
Universal School of Administration, Bengaluru, marked National Constitution Day with an engaging and intellectually charged Mock Parliament held on 26 November 2025 at Seminar Hall 4. Students stepped into the shoes of lawmakers to debate, deliberate, and pass the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025, showcasing their understanding of parliamentary procedures and democratic values.

The event began with reflections on the spirit of the Constitution, symbolized by the Preamble and the Ashoka Emblem displayed proudly at the venue. Participants represented various political parties, raised structured points of order, moved amendments, and presented arguments grounded in legal, economic, and social perspectives. The debate on the Online Gaming Bill brought out crucial issues such as youth addiction, economic opportunities, digital safety, and the need for regulatory frameworks in India’s rapidly expanding gaming industry.
The initiative aimed to build constitutional awareness, critical thinking, and leadership qualities among students — aligning with UGI’s commitment to nation-building education. Faculty members, management, and students actively participated, making the day not only commemorative but deeply reflective of India’s democratic ethos.
UGI continues to inspire future administrators by providing platforms that nurture civic sense, public reasoning, and democratic participation.
Management, Principal, Staff, and Students warmly welcomed all attendees, reinforcing UGI’s mission to shape responsible and informed citizens of tomorrow.
