- Samprati, grandson of Ashoka, ruled around 230–220 BCE and is regarded as a key patron of Jainism.
- Converted to Jainism under monk Suhastin, linked to Mahavira’s tradition.
- Actively promoted Jainism by sending monks to distant regions and supporting missionary activities.
- Credited with building and renovating temples and installing numerous Jina idols across India.
