Celebrating B. R. Ambedkar Jayanti: Inspiring Equality and Social Justice
The Universal School of Administration, under the IQAC initiative, proudly commemorates B. R. Ambedkar Jayanti—a tribute to the visionary leader who laid the foundation of equality, justice, and constitutional values in India.
Organized by the Department of Political Science in association with the Equal Opportunity & Social Welfare Cell (SC/ST Cell), the event aims to inspire students to embrace Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals of social empowerment and inclusive development.
The program will be presided over by Mr. R. Upendra Shetty, Chairman, Universal Group of Institutions. The keynote address will be delivered by Mr. Arvind Narrain, a distinguished human rights lawyer and faculty at National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. The event will also be graced by Dr. Meera Krishnappa, Director of Education.
Scheduled on 14th April 2026 at 10:00 AM in Seminar Hall 1, the celebration invites students, faculty, and staff to reflect on Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring legacy and reaffirm the commitment to equality and social justice.
This occasion is not just a remembrance, but a call to action—to rise with equality and walk with Ambedkar.
