Prime Minister Narendra Modi is participating in the 3rd India-Nordic Summit in Oslo to strengthen cooperation with Nordic countries in technology, renewable energy, sustainability, trade, defence, and digital innovation.

Key Highlights of India-Nordic Summit

●      The 3rd India-Nordic Summit is being attended by India and leaders of five Nordic countries to deepen strategic cooperation.

●      The summit seeks to enhance collaboration in sectors such as technology, innovation, digitisation, renewable energy, sustainable development, and environmental impact assessment frameworks.

●      Discussions are focused on strengthening economic engagement and boosting trade and investment flows between India and Nordic nations.

●      India’s bilateral trade with Nordic countries currently stands at nearly 19 billion dollars.

●      The summit builds upon the progress achieved during the previous India-Nordic Summit held in Copenhagen in 2022.
